The Tongyeong International Music Festival draws visitors from all over Korea and boasts some of the world’s leading classical musicians. Attaching itself each year to the festival is Fringe, an eclectic mix of musicians thrown together just for fun. Not a fan of classical music, I eschewed the main event and braved the torrential downpours to fire off a few shots at the Fringe Festival. The eagle-eyed among my regular followers might spot a certain Roy Cruz doing his thing on the base guitar in some of the photographs. Roy performs in Duck, Duck, Goose – be sure to check them out if you get the chance; they regularly perform in and around Seoul, South Korea.
