For those of you who know me well, it’s little secret that I pour my heart, soul, and a HUGE amount of time into my photography. How immensely gratifying it is when that passion is recognised: Busan Haps Magazine have this week showed an incredible amount of faith in me and my ability as a photographer by giving me the cover of their 5th Anniversary Edition. I’m incredibly grateful for their doing so, and I’d like to take this opportunity to thank the editor, Bobby McGill, and also art director, Russell McConnell, for their hard work; you all did a fantastic job with the cover, the article, and the magazine at large, as I’m sure your readership has come to expect. For my fellow photographers in Korea, you can see my photography on pages 24 to 29, along with a definitive list of places you simply MUST see before leaving South Korea.
Those of you who don’t know me so well will likely be unaware that I recently suffered an injury (playing soccer) that has left me unable to use a camera for a while. It looks like the healing process has finally begun, just in time to help lead the Tongyeong Photo Walk, along with another local photographer, Roy Cruz, in association with the Busan Lightstalkers. It felt great to get out shooting again after a short lay-off, and there was a fantastic turnout to the event. Keep your eyes peeled for the photographs over the coming days.
